- Solicitation W912BU-15-T-0041. Amendment 0001 for solicitation W912BU-15-T-0041. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, Caven Point Marine Terminal, 3 Chapel Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305 Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to initiate a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure two (2) new Honda marine outboard engines. The engines must meet the following technical specifications: - One outboard shall be a HONDA Outboard Engine, 135 hp, part number BF135A2XA - standard rotation - One outboard shall be a HONDA Outboard Engine, 135 hp, part number BF135A2XCA - counter rotation No propellers or oil are to be supplied with the outboard engines. The new engines shall be packaged in crates for mechanical and physical protection and delivered on pallets to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New York District Caven Point Marine Terminal 3 Chapel Avenue Jersey City, NJ 07305 Delivery of the two (2) Honda marine outboard engines is 45 calendar days after receipt of award. The NAICS code is 336310 and the size standard is 750 employees. Offeror's proposals will be evaluated on cost/price. The Government will evaluate each offeror's proposal to ensure that it meets the requirements of the Statement of Work. The offeror's proposal that is the lowest price that meets the requirements of the Statement of Work shall be awarded this contract. The Solicitation Number W912BU-15-T-0041 has a closing date of 01 September 2015 at 1400 hours. Hard copies will not be available and written or fax requests will not be accepted. The official media of distribution for this RFQ is the web. Contractors may download the solicitation (including any drawings) and any amendments via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at www.fbo.gov, on or after the issue date. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps web site for any amendments. Interested firms must register at FedBizOpps in order to access the solicitation. Offerors are responsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. All offerors are to be delivered electronically to Justin Chung at justin.chung@usace.army.mil. If there are any issues submitting the quote electronically due to file size, the offeror shall contact Justin Chung. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD System for Award Management by award (SAM) before award as required by FARS 4.605. Also, firms who receive a federal contract in excess of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
