- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to provide thirteen (13) main distribution panels (MDP's) as well as a series of disconnects and breakers. These materials have specific part numbers or operating characteristics that can only be produced by one original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Since the OEM does not sell these parts directly to customers, the Navy intends to procure the parts from a vendor who shall obtain these parts from the OEM and redistribute to the Navy. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This requirement will be competed amongst large and small businesses that comply with the specifications. A firm-fixed price type contract is anticipated to result from the solicitation. It is the intention of the Navy to issue this RFP through electronic means only. This RFP shall be available upon issuance on August 14th at https://www.fbo.gov contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration.
