Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Siemens Medical Solutions, 51 Valley Stream Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355. The procurement is a service maintenance plan on the Magnetom Avanto MRI and MR Chiller located at the Salisbury VA Medical Center. The period of performance is 10/1/2015 through 9/30/2016. The service maintenance plan is on a Department of Defense and a VA NAC IDIQ contract with Siemens Medical Solutions. NAICS code 811219 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement are to submit information to: Dori Dabbs, Contract Specialist, at dori.dabbs2@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am, EST on August 6, 2015. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
