- This notice of intent is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Technical Innovations LLC, 140 Business Center Drive, Birmingham, AL 35244 for the purchase of upgrading the current audiovisual (AV) system and equipment. The current equipment was purchased and installed on 30 September 2014 under contract FA3300-14-C-0058 by Technical Innovations LLC and is currently being utilized by the Eaker Center for Professional Development. This AV system can't be substituted because using any other contractor or company to integrate the new required equipment with the current equipment will void the warranty on the existing equipment and software. The systems, their respective components, and software currently running the AV mission is proprietary and unique to Technical Innovations. This is sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contract with a delivery date within 30 days after award. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services, they must respond to this notice before 8/05/15 at 12:00pm (noon) Central Standard Time (CST). If no responses are received by the above referenced date/time a sole source contract will be awarded to Technical Innovations, LLC. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds.
