Description

Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals; the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. A solicitation is not currently available. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 3), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Network Acquisitions and Logistics program is conducting market research for qualified firms (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone, 8(A) OR Small Business) capable of providing a single wall audiometric test booth for audiology for the CBOC in Brick NJ. Applicable NAICS Code is 334510, Audiological equipment, electromedical, manufacturing with a Small Business size standard of 500 Employees. This is a market survey for informational and planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. Requirements: ETS-Lindgren Model Delta 142 Single Wall Audiometric Test Booth Left Hinged Door Triangular-Shaped Corner Booth BRAND NAME OR EQUAL: "The single wall audiometric test booth must be triangular-shaped to fit in the corner of the room. The outside dimensions must be 6'-8" wide by 6'-8" deep by 7' - 2 5/8" high. The inside dimensions must be 6' -0" wide by 6' -0" deep by 6' -6' high. The corner style booth must furnish ample room for both patient and sound field equipment. "The acoustic wall panels must be constructed with a 16 gauge steel outlet skin, 1" gypsum 3" inert and non-flammable acoustic insulation, and a 22 gauge perforated inner skin providing the best combination of attenuation and interior sound. "Electrostatic powder coat (zero VOCs) paint finish. Booth color to be Platinum light gray with charcoal gray window frames and gray carpet. "The booth must have wall-mounted acoustic ventilation silencer system with variable speed ambient air circulation fan to circulate ambient air through the booth. "The door must be a sealed 32" clear opening acoustical door with camfit hinges, left hinged door, includes a 20" x 60" window in the door. "Acoustic patient observation window located on right side of booth, 20" wide by 30" high window, double glazed, laminated safety glass. "There must be a clinical jack panel beneath the window containing twelve (12) ¼" gold plated stereo phone jacks, four (4) USB connections, and one (1) 1 ½" diameter cable pass-through. "The booth must have ceiling mounted LED light fixtures with independent switches for control and exam lights, located in control room adjacent to observation window. "The triangular-shaped booth acoustic isolated floor system with carpet shall be a "low profile" design, 3" thick floor, sits on 1 5/8" vibration isolation rails, ½" tapered threshold with a 4 ¾" step up.
