- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division NSWCCD, Philadelphia intends to solicit for the procurement of fuel flowmeters needed to replace and support a rotating pool of flowmeters on DDG-51 Class Flight IIA ships. The solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted and is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single-Award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures as described in FAR 15.101-2. The following evaluation factors will be incorporated into the solicitation: Technical Approach, Past Performance, and Price. The government intends to award one (1) contract to one (1) responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the Request for Proposal (RFP), is considered technically acceptable with the lowest evaluated priced proposal meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for the non-price factors. The solicitation will contain a sixty (60) month ordering period. The acquisition is for maximum quantity of one hundred and fifty (150) Single Conditioners and one hundred (100) Flowmeters. The required delivery of the items is 60 days after issuance of each order. The NAICS code for this procurement is 332911 with a size standard of 500. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation Request for Proposal (RFP) N65540-15-R-5169, which will be posted on http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on vendors), approximately 15 days after posting of this notice. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. The RFP along with any amendments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website at http://fbo.gov on or around August 14, 2015 and will close 30 days thereafter. All interested parties may download the solicitation and any amendments through FEDBIZOPPS. The Request for Proposal (RFP) for this acquisition will be N65540-15-R-5169. No CDs or hard copies will be provided. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and technical proposals. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov/partal/public/SAM/. All questions must be submitted in writing to scott.ostrow@navy.mil.
