Description

EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS C EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION I. CODE N742.07 NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. QUANTITY - 551 EACH. ITEM DESCRIPTION: NSN: 1377-01-454-9321 “ SS67 MK 109 MOD 1 CANOPY JETTISON ROCKET MOTOR (CJRM) USED IN THE F-18 HORNET AND THE AG-G GROWLER. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT - 1.0 LBS. EXPLOSIVE CLASS “ 1.3C. PRODUCTION LOT TESTING AND FIRST ARTICLE TESTING, CONTRACTOR DATA REQUIREMENT LISTS, AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. A COMPLETE DRAWING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE WEB. A DIGITAL CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR VIEWING WEB BASED DRAWINGS.
