- P15PS02280 Channel Islands National Park, located in Ventura, CA has a requirement for lumber to repair fencing. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 current through FAC 2005-83 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a request for a quote (RFQ). The acquisition is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) code is 321113 with a size standard of 500 employees. Delivery and acceptance is at Ventura CA 93001, FOB Destination. Please include shipping costs and state delivery time within quote. Please provide a quote on the following: 1.Quantity of approx. 480 - 2"x8"x16' Douglas Fir S4S (Surfaced 4 Sides) #1 grade (As described in Sec II of PS20, National Grading Rule American Softwood Lumber Standards) 2.Quantity of approx. 230 - 6"x6"x8' Pressure treated posts-Ground Contact Three treatment compounds acceptable 3.AWPA minimum retention levels as follows: a.ACQ 0.40 min pounds per cubic foot b.CA-B 0.21 min pounds per cubic foot c.CA-C 0.15 pounds per cubic foot.
