This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quote is currently unfunded and will be awarded only in the event that funding becomes available. (I)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation W912JB-14-T-8008 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. (IV) This acquisition is reserved for a Small Business concerns; however, in the event that no Small Business concerns can meet the requirement the set aside will be withdrawn and an award will be made to a Large Business. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 423120, standard industrial classification 3669, small business size 100 employees. (V)This is a firm fixed price requirements type contract for non-personal services to provide all plant, equipment, tools, materials, labor, technical, expertise, and supervision necessary to properly blast, prime and paint for corrosion resistance Truck #233, Truck #795 & Dump Truck at Battle Creek ANGB, MI. The scope of work and materials required includes the following 3 line items: Line Item 001 - Truck #795 (Dodge Ram 1 1/4 Ton) - Blast, Prime & Paint Stake Bed and Underside of Truck Line Item 002 - Truck #233 (Chevy 1 1/4 Ton)- Blast, Prime & Paint Stake Bed, Rims and Underside of Truck Line Item 003 - Dump Truck (International 5 ton) - Blast, Prime & Paint Dump Box, Rims and Underside of Truck Quotes should be submitted with pricing broken out according to each Line Item. Any requests to come to the base on a site visit and see the 3 trucks above must be coordinated with MSgt Adam English at (269) 969-3332 or adam.p.english.mil@mail.mil (VI) This solicitation is for a contractor to provide all plant, equipment, tools, materials, labor, technical expertise, and supervision necessary to blast, prime and paint for corrosion resistance on Truck #233, Truck #795 and Dump Truck located on Battle Creek Air National Guard Base at 3367 W. Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037. (VII) Delivery Date is 60 Days After Delivery of Contract. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Government intends to award a contract without discussions with respective offerors. The Government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in the best interest of the Government. The Department of Labor Service Contract Act Wage Determination (Mechanics and Maintenance and Repair Occupations) WD 05-2277 (Rev.13) dated 06/25/2013 (for Calhoun County) is currently incorporated into this solicitation; however, the current prevailing Wage Determination for the Equipment Repair will be incorporated at the time of award.
