Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Charles George, (CG VAMC) is seeking potential offerors to provide all necessary facilities, equipment, and technical personnel services to provide off-site Autopsy Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Salem, Virginia VAMC. Contractor shall perform complete autopsy consisting of an external examination, dissection, gross and microscopic examination. Services will be needed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am until 4:30pm. The contracted medical facility shall be located within fifty (60) miles radius of the CG VAMC in Ashville, NC. All beneficiaries referred during the contract period will be seen at the CONTRACTOR FACILITY. It is the VA intention to negotiate and award on a competitive basis. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621111. Size standard is $11M. This is a sources sought notice only. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: Name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement.
