- SF18 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N00178-15-T-4826 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is set-aside for small business. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a brand name basis the quantity of twenty-two (22) Versa Module Eurocard (VME) Processor Boards with Part Number XVR15-22210103 manufactured by General Electric (GE) Intelligent Platform Embedded Systems, Inc. GE's VME switch is deemed to be the only switch capable of being incorporated into existing platform equipment already in use and introduction of any similar items by another manufacturer is not considered to be in the best interest of the Government with regard to configuration, compatibility, performance and cost. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 14 August 2015, no later than 12:00 p.m. EDT with an anticipated award date by 14 September 2015.
