- In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis. The FAA intends to award a contract to Stratus Technologies of Dublin, Ireland, using single source procedures to provide annual maintenance support on Stratus ft Servers 6210 and 6300. The annual support covers operational servers that are used as the platform for the NADIN system as well as the platform for the ADAS, NADIN and WMSCR proxies required to securely connect external users to these systems. The support also covers development, test and training servers used to deploy changes to the operational platforms. Stratus is the sole manufacturer and provider of the Stratus ft Server 6210 and 6300 and its subsystem components which is an integral part of the FAA NADIN Message ReHost system and MSN Server subsystem. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm does not agree with this single source determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the maintenance support required and the FAA will evaluate accordingly.
