- Request for Information (RFI) for ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM REPAIRS at Various Locations. The Army Contracting Command has a requirement for a single small business concern that can fulfill the requirement to repair access control systems. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise. This is not an Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), or Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, nor will the Government reimburse the costs associated with the preparation of responses to this RFI. The information requested herein will be used within the Army to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. This RFI will be used to gather market research to make decisions regarding the development of acquisition strategies, and is not to be construed as a commitment of the Government. The Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), in support of the 99th Regional Support Command (RSC) Fort Dix NJ seeks information concerning the offerors qualification statement to accommodate this requirement. This RFI is seeking an active 100% small business concern. The NAICS code used is 236220. The offeror must be registered in SAM in order to be awarded a contract. The market research conducted is to identify potential sources capable of providing the necessary expertise to effectively replace existing CAC Card Readers with new FICAM approved Veridt Biometric Multimode Stealth Readers to include new 64 bit laptops with Veridt Biometric Visitor Badge Solution and Veridt USB Enrollment Solution. Interested vendors shall submit a capability statement no more than 5 pages in length describing their knowledge and capabilities. All responses shall be transmitted electronically to the Contract Specialist, Stephanie Howell at Stephanie.M.Howell2.civ@mail.mil. The closing date for this RFI is 4:30 pm EST on Thursday 13 August 2015. Attachments: To ensure that the offerors have a clear understanding of this requirement, a Draft Scope of Work (SOW) is attached to this Request for Information (RFI).
