- Description
- The Mobile District Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract to fabricate, construct and deliver a minimum of 17 complete anchorage assemblies. There are 4 types of anchorage assemblies and each complete assembly is composed of forged and machined steel components. The solicitation plans, drawings and specifications include the details of each anchorage type and its construction. Forging, fabrication, welding, and painting are required. The contractor will be responsible for all, supervision, labor, plant, equipment, materials, supplies and all other things necessary for the fabrication, construction and delivery of the anchorage assemblies. The Government will arrange for off-loading the assemblies from the Contractor's transport vehicle. The Contractor will deliver a pre-determined number of assemblies to the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Project Maintenance facility in Columbus, MS and a pre-determined number of the assemblies to the Black Warrior/Tombigbee Maintenance facility in Tuscaloosa, AL. This solicitation will be issued for direct download the following website https://www.fbo.gov ON or Around July 13, 2015. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to the solicitation. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. No telephone or faxed requests will be accepted. Registration requirements (applicable to US firms only, as required by DFARS 204.7300), all US contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database www.sam.gov.
