- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) located in Bethesda, MD has a requirement for the purchase of a Rheometer and a Differential scanning Calorimeter. The Rheometer should be able to perform strain, stress and step rate control measurements. The Rheometer should include modular design to allow for additional modules to increase the Rheometer's functionality for future needs. The Differential Scanning Calorimeter should be able to perform thermal material characterization on several polymer systems. This procurement will be competitive and is unrestrictive. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 and the business size standard is 500 employees. Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ N0016715T0092. The acquisition of this commercial item(s) will be processed in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation will be posted within 15 days of this announcement.
