Description: THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMI T FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The 409th CSB, RCO Stuttgart anticipates a requirement to provide PHANTOM Jump Bottle System - B47310-1. Cobham PHANTOM Parachutist Jump Bottle System. The PHANTOM Jump Bottle System uses State-of-the-art material technology to provide significantly increased oxygen supply durations while reducing the overall weight of the system. The system consists of a lightweight carbonfiber full composite (CFFC) oxygen cylinder and pressure reducer assembly. When filled to 3,000 psig, it provides 410 liters of breathable oxygen, 45% more than comparable systems. The system is supplied with a 39-inch, small diameter flexible hose which can connect to either the PHANTOM or other mask systems. The new hose has a smaller diameter than previous systems. This minimizes interference with jump equipment and offers greater mobility. This is an unrestricted full and open competitvie acquisition. The Government intends to make a singel award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable Offeror will be issued as a Request for Proposal. Solicitation No: W91WFU-15-T-0008 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333999. All responsible sources may submit a proposa, which shall be considered by the agency.Potential offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for award.(See Internet Site: https:/lwww.sam.gov/saml). Payment for this acquision will be made electronically through the Wide Area Workflow CNAWF) System.Contractors must be registeredin WAWF to Include German vendors. see intemet site: https:f/Wawf.eb.milfor registration.
