- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. No contract shall be awarded from this pre-solicitation notice. The anticipated requirement is for a target amplification nucleic acid probe test that utilizes target capture for the in vitro qualitative detection and differentiation of ribosomal RNA (rRNA) from Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and/or Neisseria gonorrhoeae (GC) to aid in the diagnosis of chlamydial and/or gonococcal urogenital infections and the supplies of associated test kits on a monthly recurring supply for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, Texas 76544. This is brand name or equal to the APTIMA, COMBO 2, Test Kit, Panther. Vendor must be able to provide test kits and analyzer on a pre-determined and scheduled monthly basis. This requirement will be an unrestricted procurement using NAICS code 325413, and size standard 500. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 10 August 2015. All contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
