- This is a Sources Sought notification. This notice is for information and planning purposes only. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and determining if sources capable of performing this service are available in the commercial marketplace. NOTE: This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U. S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market research. Work Description: The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment required to perform Facility Investment Services for onsite backup generators and associated equipment in the form of preventative maintenance and emergency service requests to include auxiliary equipment maintenance for the Naval Support Activity Monterey (NSAM) and Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography (FNMOC), Monterey, CA. It is critical that the contractor have the capability to service the generators and equipment in the attached file. This requirement is for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual preventative and emergency maintenance and repairs of the emergency generator systems and their associated equipment (ATS, Load Banks, compressor tanks, controls, transfer switch maintenance, etc.) The Government will specify mandatory emergency response times in any resulting solicitation for these services.
