- Solicitation FA3030-15-R-0006 Paint East Water Tower Presolicitation: Solicitation Number: FA3030-15-R-0006 Agency/Office: Air Education and Training Command Location: Goodfellow AFB, Contracting Squadron Title: Paint Interior of East Water Tower Description: 17th Contracting Squadron, Bldg 707, 210 Scherz Blvd, Goodfellow AFB, TX 76908-4705 is issuing a solicitation for: "Paint the Interior of the East Water Tower". The contractor shall furnish all necessary plant, labor, supervision, quality control, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and other incidental equipment or services necessary for providing all work shown on the drawings and the statement of work, and all applicable codes, regulations, standards and criteria in effect at the date of solicitation. Work will consist of blast clean interior of an elevated 400k gallon tank, replace interior ladder with fall protection slider, recoat tank, disinfect tank and conduct a water test after completion of all work. The NAICS associated with this requirement is 238220, and the small business size standard is $15 M. The anticipated performance period is 90 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project, in accordance with FAR 36.204(c) is between $100,000 and $250,000. This acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business. Any interested party may submit a proposal but must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) as prescribed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7 for consideration of award. SAM registration can be obtained by accessing the Internet at: https://www.sam.gov or by calling 1-866-606-7828 for assistance. SAM registration must be complete before the award can be made. The estimated posting date to the FedBizOps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) for the Request for Proposal will be on or about 6 August 2015 and a closing date of 08 Sep 15. The exact dates will be included in the RFP when posted to FBO. A site visit will be scheduled on or about 20 August 2015. However, the Government may provide a video of an inspection performed inside the tank in year 2014 upon request. Funding is currently not available for this project. The Government reserves the right to cancel this requirement, either before or after the closing date.
