- SF18 The USDA-ARS, Daniel K. Inouye Pacific Basin Agricultural Research Center has a requirement to purchase 4 Insect Rearing Chambers. All proposals must meet the following specifications to be considered: At least 30 cu feet interal capacity External dimensions must fit through a 36 inch doorway Temperature range 18C - 60C Humidity control: ultrasonic/dry air humidity control Lighting timer (day/night) Peltier/thermoelectric cooling mechanism for extended life Low energy consumption/LED lighting for reduced operational costs Stainless steel interior/corrosion resistant to resist breakdown associated with fruit fly rearing Stainless steel shelving Please be sure to include shipping of each chamber to destination Hawaii.
