- DEA Provisions and Clauses The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to solicit and negotiate using FAR Part 13 -Simplified Acquisition Procedures, a sole source purchase order to Simplex Grinnell, LP for the replacement of obsolete, discontinued and outdated fire system devices at DEA Headquarters. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price purchase order with the delivery date September 30, 2015. A sole source determination is approved and is on file. The current building fire system is proprietary and only Simplex Grinnell has the specific technology rights. Please see the attached applicable DEA Provisions and Clauses. This notice of intent is not a request for quote and no solicitation will be issued. Responses to this notice shall be submitted electronically to Ebony.N.Jones@usdoj.gov no later than August 12, 2015 at 10:00am EST.
