- Amendment to the Instructions to Offerors Amendment 1 to the Solicitation PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED SOLICITATION FA8601-15-R-0019 The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/PZIOBA, Operational Contacting Branch, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is planning to solicit an award for Laundry Services for the Child Development Centers at Wright-Patterson AFB, with a projected Award Date of AUGUST 2015. SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA8601-15-R-0019 At this time it is predicted this effort will not be set aside, and will be solicited full and open. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM), contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. The NAICS code is 812320 and the Size Standard is $5.5M DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities transportation, services, equipment and materials (except as identified as Government furnished) necessary to provide laundry services to designated Child Development Centers located on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in accordance with the requirements of industry standards, and applicable local, state, and Federal laws. The attached Draft PWS, Appendix A includes an estimate of the magnitude of laundry required to be serviced at each location. Appendix B includes the locations of the requested laundry services. Appendix C includes the pick-up and delivery schedule for this effort. As a reminder, these are drafts and estimates which are subject to be changed. NOTES: •1. The solicitation with the official specifications will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 29 JUNE 2015, at http://www.fbo.gov, The tentative date for receipt of proposals is 29 JULY 2015. Anticipated POP (Base + Options): 1 October 2015 - 30 September 2020 (6-month extension clause, FAR 52.217-8 to be included in contract). •2. A non-mandatory site visit may be scheduled. If so, deadline information to inform us of your attendance as well as site visit location and time will be listed in the RFP. •3. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site www.fbo.gov. •4. There is no fee for this solicitation. •5. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. •6. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. •7. "Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. •8. This Presolicitation Notice is published for notification purposes only. This Presolicitation Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice.
