- This is a sources sought notice for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, management, and financial capability of offerors to perform this type of work. The capability statements will be used to determine appropriate procurement strategy, in particular whether a set-aside is warranted or an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. Proposed Project: The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement to provide solar well pumping equipment for seven existing tribal stock wells to be delivered to Luepp, Arizona. SEE THE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK FOR A COMPLETE LIST OF THE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED. Equipment and materials shall be delivered so that the items provided are clearly identified as those required for each well, as shown in Table 1. For example, all items for Well 5T-572 shall be packaged and labeled "5T-572". For Each well: 1.Furnish a solar powered submersible pump, and pump controller/junction box. 2.Furnish solar photovoltaic panels and necessary hardware. 3.Furnish one wind turbine and mounting kit for well 5T-572. 4.Furnish a passive solar tracking (uniaxial) assembly, hardware, and mounting pole. 5.Furnish Schedule 120 PVC Riser Pipe (1-1/4-inch drop pipe) for the pump. 6.Furnish submersible pump electrical cable and splice kit. 7.Furnish a pitless adapter and well cap. 8.Furnish a float level sensor for five of the wells. Capability Statement/Package If sources are not able to provide all the items listed, the sources should submit statements that list the equipment they are able to provide. For all products proposed, please provide data specification sheets so we can see that the proposed products meet the performance requirements and salient characteristics. All products are subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.225-3-Buy American Act-Free Trade Agreement-Israeli Trade Act. Interested sources are welcome to submit a capability statement package to include the following information: 1.Capability statement shall address the equipment listed in the attachment and the offeror ¿s ability to meet the performance and salient characteristics. 2.Provide your business name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address. 3.Provide your business size & type: 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business or Large Business, etc. This information will be used to assist the Contracting Officer in terms of developing the appropriate procurement strategy for this acquisition and for purposes of market research. All businesses, regardless of size, capable of providing these items are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought. This notice is designed to locate responsible sources that have an interest, and have the ability to perform the services described herein. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAIC) code is 33391 - Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. Firms may also provide recommendation for use of an alternate NAICS code. Interested sources should submit a capability statement on or before 2:00 PM local time, August 12, 2015. Submittals will be reviewed and considered by Reclamation during the solicitation planning process.
