THIS IS THE OFFICIAL SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE 24 JULY 2015 1. This letter solicitation is issued in order to acquire the following wing tips: NSN Basic Year QTY Opt I QTY Opt II QTY 1560015272194XE 29 8-15 8-15 1560015272195XE 27 8-15 8-15 2. Your best price and delivery proposal is requested for these NSNs based on the specified annual quantities and the referenced attachments. Price and delivery proposals may be negotiated upon closing of this solicitation. Please note these parts were previously purchased on contract SPM4A1-11-G-0004-QP01 using certified cost or pricing data. This is A sole-source requirement to the original manufacturer, Northrup Grumman, due to the proprietary nature of the drawings. The inspection and acceptance point will be at origin with FOB also being at origin. 3. This correspondence constitutes a letter solicitation as these items are intended to be added to the Northrop Grumman Subsumable Contract SPE4AX-13-D-9001. Be advised this requirement has been advertised in Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) for viewing by the general public. In the event another supplier indicates interest in responding to the requirement because of the synopsis, a formal solicitation will be issued to accommodate that supplier. 4. An expedient reply is requested, however, the closing date for this solicitation is 24 August 2015. Please reference the subject solicitation number in your reply.
