- This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support is conducting market research seeking to identify possible sources that can supply Sealing Compound under three (3) different NSNs: 8030-01-494-9650, 8030-01-494-9651, and 8030-01-504-8136. Interested contractors are requested to review the below description carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced item under a long-term, requirements contract. All three (3) NSNs are currently manufactured by Aviation Devices and Electronic Components LLC (CAGE Code 1NPE1). NSN 8030-01-494-9650, Sealing Compound, is identified by Part Number HT3326-5-50. NSN 8030-01-494-9651, Sealing Compound, is identified by Part Number TG8498-50. NSN 8030-01-504-8136, Sealing Compound, is identified by Part Number TG2010-50. The unit of issue for the NSNs is CA. Interested parties should provide written responses by close of business on Tuesday September 8, 2015, by 9:00 AM EST to : Kristen Baraniewicz, DLA Troop Support Construction & Equipment, at Kristen.Baraniewicz@dla.mil. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government will NOT pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought Notice. If a solicitation would result, it would be synopsized on the FedBizOpps website and it would be the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any such notices.
