- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA263-15-Q-0764 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. The VA anticipates one firm fixed-price contract award for all resources and labor necessary to provide HVAC Controls and Chiller Maintenance for VA facilities located in Lincoln and Grand Island Nebraska which are part of the Nebraska-Western Iowa VA Health Care System, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105-1850. Additional requirements are listed within the attached solicitation documents. A list of the contract line items, quantity, and unit of measure are listed within the attached solicitation document(s). This procurement is being solicited as a Total Small Business set aside. Prospective offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award: (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Quotes will only be accepted from responsible contractors. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238220 and the small business size standard is $15 million. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) does not apply to this solicitation. Quotes are due to the Contracting Office by Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 4:00 PM CDT. Quotes are required to be emailed to Gregory.Johnson12@va.gov prior to the solicitation closing date and time. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure their quote is received in full by the Contracting Officer before the solicitation closing. Areas to complete when submitting your quote: SF1449 completed and signed in blocks 17a, 30a, 30b, and 30c. Section B1 - Contractor information completed on the top half of the Contract Administration Data page. Section B2 - Pricing information in the Price Schedule. A separate narrative must be submitted with your quote to address the technical and past performance evaluation criteria (See Section E, 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items). A site visit is not planned. If you would like to schedule a site visit please email your request to Gregory.johnson12@va.gov Site Visits must be scheduled and take place no later than 2:00 P.M. CDT time on August 13, 2015. All questions must be submitted in writing via email to Gregory.johnson12@va.gov. Questions must be received by August 14, 2015 by 4:00 P.M. CDT.
