- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 20086969 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83-2. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237310 with a small business size standard of $36.50M.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-08-17 17:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Place of Performance. The DHS Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires the following items, Purchase Description Determined by Line Item, to the following: LI 001: Repaving Location #1: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to repave the sections of highway as follows: Remove 3,960 SQ FT of existing asphalt to a depth of 3? (inches) and excavate existing soil below to a depth of 4? (inches). Construct a 4? (inch) aggregate base course on 3,960 SQ FT and moisture to compact and grade. Fine grade existing base, add moisture compact to grade on 3,960 SQ FT. Pave 3,960 SQ FT using Asphaltic Concrete as required, or compound/mix of the same or superior quality. See Statement of Work for complete requirements and description., 1, AU; LI 002: Repaving Location #2: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to repave the section of highway as follows: Remove 5,540 SQ FT of existing asphalt to a depth of 3? (inches) and excavate existing soil below to a depth of 4? (inches). Construct a 4? (inch) aggregate base course on 5,540 SQ FT and moisture to compact and grade. Fine grade existing base, add moisture compact to grade on 5,540 SQ FT. Pave 5,540 SQ FT using Asphaltic Concrete as required, or compound/mix of the same or superior quality. See Statement of Work for complete requirements and description., 1, AU; LI 003: SITE VISIT AVAILABLE: SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENT FOR FULL DETAILS: THIS IS NOT A PRICE ITEM AND SITE VISITS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROSPECTIVE OFFEROR. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT REIMBURSE FOR SITE VISITS. 52.237-1 SITE VISIT (APR 1984) Bidders are expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable.
