- Request for Information (RFI) for the Manufacture of F-15 Engine-to-Airframe Manifold Center Section Assembly NSN 4730-01-493-8729FX CONTRACTOR��CAPABILITY��SURVEY�� REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION F-15 Engine-to-Airframe Manifold Center Section Assembly NSN 4730-01-493-8729FX PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION We are conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the F-15 Engine-to-Airframe Manifold Center Section Assembly, NSN 4730-01-493-8729FX. Our acquisition strategy is a three-year contract (basic plus two option years) and will continue through FY18. The projected quantities will be a maximum quantity of 126ea in the basic year, a maximum quantity of 44ea the first option year, and a maximum quantity of 45ea the second option year. The ETAM is part of the main fuel lines that delivers fuel directly to each of the engines on the F-15. The ETAM consists of the center sections assembly mating to a 36° elbow housing at one end and a straight housing at the other end. The ETAM is assembled using a seal kit to seal all unions. The Center Section Assembly will be considered the assembly up to, but not including, each ends housing (AE96675U/180001-4 and AE80312U/180001-06). It must conform to the OEM engineering requirements outlined in 68B588000, TO 6J12-19-3. Our acquisition strategy is a three-year contract (basic plus two option years) and will continue through FY18.
