- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research. It is for information, planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as either a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. Sources Sought Another purpose of this Sources Sought Notice/RFI is to determine the availability and capability of qualified small businesses (including Small Business Administration Certified 8(a) companies; firms in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone); Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses; and Women-Owned small businesses), GSA schedule contracts. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. Repair and perform maintenance for the vision 21 supervisory system (SIGCOM). The following minimum task must be completed: -Complete Disassembly & cleaning. -Replacement of the Power Supply, Cooling fans & Power cables. -Installation of a refurbished mother board & processor board. -Refurbishment of the Control panel, including installation of new displays -New BG Printer & take up reel. - Re-assembly and complete factory check out. All equipment shall be listed/a approved with Underwriters Laboratory (U.L) FPED, 467, 514A &B, 1242 or factory mutual, or other nationally recognized testing organization in accordance with NFPA 1221,70, 780 72 Chapter 9. All wiring and installation shall be IAW the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Interested parties shall provide a brief overview of their firm's capabilities and past experience with projects similar in scope to this project. All information shall be submitted in Word or PDF format, not to exceed 5 pages, including all attachments. Each submittal shall also include the following business information: a. DUNS number. b. Organization Name. c. Organization Address. d. Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) e. Business size. f. Socio-economic status ( IF SDVOSB or VOSB - provide SDVOSB or VOSB CVE verification). g. GSA schedule contract if is applicable. Firms shall identify whether or not they are a small business or other than small business in accordance with the size standard for NAICS code 811213.COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT REPAIRAND MAINTENANCE If another NAICS code may be applicable, please identify the NAICS in your capability statement.
