Description
This acquisition is being solicited in accordance with FAR subpart 19.15 Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Business (EDWOSB). All contractors must be registered and have an active and verified account in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract award from any DoD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: https://www.sam.gov/ to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program. FAR and DFARS Representations and Certifications can be submitted at https://www.sam.gov/. Offeror must be certified as an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business at the time of submission of bid. Offeror shall comply with SBA requirements for verified eligibility and all required documents shall be loaded to the WOSB Program Repository at www.sba.gov/wosb or https://eweb.sba.gov/gls/dsp_login.cfm. Offerors not possessing a valid, active, and verifiable eligibility at the time of bid submission will not be considered for award. Contractors must ensure that the applicable NAICS code 238210 is included in their profile prior to submission of bids. The NAICS code is 238210 with a size standard of $15,000,000.00 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment and perform all work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Inside Plant Cable Organization and Telecomm Room Clean-Up, Fort Hunter Liggett, California. Contractor shall install a non-continuous cable support race way by means of cat 6 rated j hooks or "Arlington" cable support straps above ceiling and connected to structural steel to dress and route all cables on all existing drops and provide a clear and usable path for future cable installs. It is estimated that 100 cables are in use in building. Contractor shall test and remove any unused cable system identified during reorganization. It is estimated that 10-20% of existing cables are not in use. Remove any identified wall mounted, racks, and equipment or fixtures. All removed cables are to be recycled by contractor. All equipment and fixtures will be returned to the site POC. Contractor shall mount exiting data switch into existing rack and route all existing data and special system cables to rack mounted patch panels and test. Install patch cords form patch panels to switch. Coordinate switch and patch panel location with site POC. Contractor shall dress and route all cable on existing back board in such a manner as to present a neat and traceable route with the use of "d-rings and Velcro tie wraps. Re-terminate all cables to 110 blocks/66 blocks and label or tag for easy identification. The Contractor shall re-label all existing outlets and provide updated drawing to POC upon project completion. THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS PROJECT IS LESS THAN $25,000.00. This will be a fixed price construction contract. The invitation for bids will be available on or about 14 August 2015 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). No paper copies of the invitation will be furnished. Bids are tentatively due August 24th, with bid opening the same day.
