- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for a purchase order to provide all labor, material, and equipment to construct an Equipment Building IAW the attached scope of work for Monroe Lake, 1620 East Monroe Dam Court, Bloomington, Indiana 47401. The Contractor's work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, state and local laws and regulations. One award will be made from this RFQ. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to award of the contract. Those not currently registered can obtain registration by going to the website http://www.sam.gov. Contractors will need to obtain a DUNS number for processing their registration. If you do not already have a DUNS number, one can be obtained from DUN and Bradstreet by calling 1 800 333 0505. Please begin the registration process immediately to avoid delay of the contract award should your firm be selected. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small Business, NAICS 236220 ($36.5M). All invoices should be mailed to: USACE, Monroe Lake ATTN: Shannon Phelps 1620 East Monroe Dam Court Bloomington, Indiana 47401 Method of Payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the Contractor. Note: The contract award will be based on low price.
