- This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The NAICS Code for this project is 311812. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of delivery Multi-Breads to Asheville, Durham, Fayetteville and Salisbury Veteran Affairs Medical Centers in North Carolina. Deliverables: Bread, white, 20 to 24 oz. lf, class B enriched-style pan baked, round top or sandwich, 16 to 18 slices per pound 7,890 each Bread, whole wheat, 20 to 24 oz. loaf, round top, no white flour shall be used, pan type, 16-18 slices per pound 11,130 each Bread, fresh, whole wheat hamburger bun, soft, pan baked, sliced, whole wheat must be primary ingredient by weight, dietary fiber shall be a minimum of 4 grams not to exceed 6 grams per roll. Sodium shall be a minimum of 150 mg not to exceed 200 mg per roll, must meet the regulatory definitions of "low saturated fat and low cholesterol." Calories per roll shall be a minimum of 100 calories not to exceed 150 calories. Minimum of 8 rolls per package not to exceed 12 roll per package 12,800 each Bread, roll, whole wheat hoagie, fresh, pre-sliced, whole wheat must be primary ingredient by weight, dietary fiber shall be a minimum of 4 grams not to exceed 6 grams per roll. Sodium shall be a minimum of 240 mg not to exceed 350 mg per roll, must meet the regulatory definitions of "low saturated fat and low cholesterol." Calories per roll shall be a minimum of 150 calories not to exceed 250 calories. Protein per roll shall be 5 grams not to exceed 8 grams. Single roll weight 3 oz. not to exceed 3.25 oz. Minimum of 6 rolls per package not to exceed 12 roll per package 1100 each Bread, Rolls, white enriched, soft pan baked, sliced finger, hot dog, 1 ¼ to 1 ½ oz. per roll 255 each Bread, Rolls, white enriched, soft pan baked, sliced hamburger bun, 4", 12 count/pkg., 1 ½ oz. per roll 3500 each Bread, White, 20 oz. lf, 3/4" slices, 18 to 20 slices per lf. Texas Toast 100 each Bread, Rolls, white enriched, pan baked, soft, unsliced, ready to serve 100 each Bread, rye, hearth or pan baked, round top, sliced, prepared from hard wheat flour, not less than 20% or more than 40% rye flour shall constitute the total ingredients. Each loaf shall weigh 16 oz. and have 16 to 18 slices per lf. Caraway seeds, deli style 100 each Bread, Rolls, whole wheat enriched, 3/4 to 1 oz. each, pan baked, soft, unsliced, ready to serve, 24 per package 25 each Place of Performance: Asheville, Durham, Fayetteville and Salisbury Veteran Affairs Medical Centers in North Carolina Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to delivery above. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFP.
