Description
N00164-13-G-WR02-0002 - SOLE SOURCE -Airforce Airborne Expendable Infrared Countermeasures (AEIRCMs) - FSG 13 - NAICS 332993 Anticipated response date is 09 September 2015. This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Airforce Airborne Expendable Infrared Countermeasures (AEIRCMs), specifically the MJU-67/B Infrared Countermeasure Flare. The AEIRCMs are needed for evaluation, qualification, and effectiveness testing, as well as potential usage. The AEIRCMs will provide a spectrally tailored infrared signature to defeat the discrimination logic of advanced missile seekers. The Government intends to award a fixed price Job Order (JO). Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division entered into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00164-13-G-WR02 with Armtec Countermeasures Company, 85901 Avenue 53, Coachella, CA, for a maximum ceiling amount of $3.0M on 09/30/2015. The BOA covers a 5-year ordering period. The job order is in support of the United States Air Force. The job orders under the BOA will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may inquire into the specific terms and conditions included in the BOA; such inquiries will be considered by this agency. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Armtec Countermeasures Company directly. POC for information regarding this requirement is Ms. Karen L. Hammontree, email: Karen.Hammontree@navy.mil.
