- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial supplies as prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to competitively award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis for a Brand Name Only item. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for 1 each of the Power Electronics Training System 2kW, including a Double Fed-Induction Generator Kit from Festo Didactic's Lab-Volt Series. In order to meet the Government needs, the Power Electronics Training System to be acquired must be the Festo Didactic's Lab-Volt series and contain the following items: Permanent Magnet DC Motor Four-Pole Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor Resistive Load (low-voltage unit) Resistive Load Filtering Inductors/Capacitors Three-Phase Filter Capacitive Load Any additional requirements for the supply items will be listed with the posting of the solicitation. The required delivery of the supply items is 14 weeks after receipt of order. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334111 with a size standard of 1000 employees. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation Request for Quote (RFQ) N65540-15-T-5413, which will be posted on http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on Vendors), at least 15 days after posting of this notice. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. See www.sam.gov for further information and instructions.
