- Solicitation Number: W912PF-15- R-0034, Shop equipment maintenance and repair, Darby Military Community, Italy Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial information found at FAR Part 13 and as supplemented with the additional information included in the attached solicitation W912PF-15-R-0034. The solicitation is unrestricted and all interested Vendors shall submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310. The purpose of this combined synopsis/solicitation is to perform, for a period of a base year plus two (2) option years, the performance of shop equipment maintenance and repair. Description of the service (see the attached solicitation W912PF-15-R-0034 for more details): This project consists of maintenance and repair services including all parts, required testing and certifications for typical shop lifting equipment. The work area is within the facilities used by AFSBn-Italy to perform maintenance and supply of military vehicles/equipment within the USAG Vicenza, Camp Darby, Livorno Army Depot Area. The work includes, but is not limited to: routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance; cleaning, minor repairs, replacement of parts, adjustment and disposal of used parts, testing and certifications. This project will keep all lifting apparatuses in compliance with all current codes and standards. The Contractor must also prepare, deliver and maintain several forms of data on all equipment inspections and maintenance. The work shall be performed in accordance with manufacturers' suggestions and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, AFSBn-Italy directions, and all current U.S. codes and Italian regulations. All maintenance material used must be new and must meet Original Equipment Manufacturers recommendations. Any variation from manufacturers recommended materials must be approved by the COR. The contractor must prepare and deliver a list of equipment being maintained by this contract. This list must be updated every three months. An itemized list of equipment covered under this contract has been included with this Performance Work Statement (PWS). This list is largely accurate. It will be the Contractor's responsibility to complete this inventory ensuring all lifting equipment and specialized equipment is thoroughly documented and maintenance tracked as specified in this PWS. The Contractor will provide: a)Certified personnel to perform electrical, mechanical, and specialized tasks b)Licensed Engineer qualified to prepare required certification documentation, testing, and training c)certification within the quote mark Camera di Commercio quote mark as qualified for electrical, and mechanical works as required in this PWS d)Qualified technicians/Engineers authorized by the manufacturer, capable of certifying all work performed on the lifting equipment specified within this PWS. Authorization, certification, or other appropriate document must be provided for verification. e)Maintenance parts and routine spare parts compatible with the equipment f)Maintenance reports outlining maintenance performed, critical repairs completed, and critical repairs needed g)A monthly schedule showing dates of required maintenance inspections, preventive maintenance activities, scheduled repairs, and any other scheduled events h)Preventive maintenance plans and schedule. i)Disposal of used hazardous parts by certified/qualified personnel (certification must be provided after disposal) j)Continual updates to maintenance plans and records, including description of all repair parts, maintenance parts, and equipment. Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) resulting in a Hybrid Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials contract. Site Visit: The site visit will be held on July 30, 2015, 10:00AM. The meeting point will be Gate #27, Camp Darby, Depot Area.
