Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for Solicitation HSSS01-15-Q-0301 for a sole source procurement. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed priced contract with Hutchinson Industries, Inc. for the acquisition of run flat wheels. Hutchinson is the only vendor capable of providing the correct parts specifically designed for USSS armored vehicle runflat wheels. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 331110. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements may submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the services as detailed above. Responses may only be sent via e-mail to Danielle Donaldson at danielle.donaldson@usss.dhs.gov. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to become a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government to not open the requirement to full and open competition, bases on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All submissions shall be submitted to the Government no later than August 14, 2015 at 8:00 AM ET. After which time, a Sole Source contract with Hutchinson Industries is intended to be issued. Late submissions of interest will not be considered for this procurement, but may be considered for future procurements.
