- Description
- Pitot Static Tester Parts List Please fill out the sources sought paperwork. 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334418 which has a corresponding Size standard of 500. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years 2. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. GE Intelligent Platforms Embedded Systems, Inc., is the only known supplier at this time. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in the future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Ogden Air Logistics Center Contracting Directorate (AFMC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal Request for Purchase (RFP) in fiscal year 2015 for the acquisition of Pitot Static Tester. The purpose of this RFI is to identify if our requirement is truly sole source. In the paragraphs to follow, the Government will describe why we believe this requirement is sole source. Please read our rationale and respond to the questions below. There is an immediate need for the Pitot Static Tester. The Pitot Static Tester is currently available to the Government from GE Intelligent Platforms Embedded Systems, Inc. These assemblies are proprietary to GE Intelligent Platforms Embedded Systems, Inc., the Government doesn't own data rights so no schematics can be provided. This RFI is to determine capable and interested parties for supply of the Pitot Static Tester. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to provide the Pitot Static Tester. Please limit your submissions to responses to these questions. Send responses to Dayna Parkin-Urquhart by e-mail at dayna.parkin_urquhart.1@us.af.mil by Tuesday, 18 August 2015/10:00 a.m. MST. If you think your company has a viable solution to our requirement, please answer the questions below: 1. What is the name and DUNS number of your company? 2. How would you satisfy the Government requirement for the Pitot Static Tester? 3. What obstacles would you have to overcome to provide the Pitot Static Tester? 4.
