- This is not a solicitation. Please do not respond to this document. A solicitation will be issued to fedbizops containing all information required to submit an offer that will be considered for award. UNICOR intends to enter into a one (1) base year with four (4) one year option years if exercised Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type Contract for sales and marketing of UNICOR furniture products. Solicitation number is FN1407-15 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Guaranteed Minimum is $ 10,000.00 over the duration of the contract, inclusive of any exercised option years. NAICS Code 541613 Business Size Standard is $15.0 Services are to provided throughout the continental United States and oconus All solicitations (also future procurement) and any other information (amendments, etc.) may be obtained through FedBizOps at www.fbo.gov under FN1407-15. All offerors must complete the following information prior to submission of offer to be considered for award, in addition to the requirements of Section L: Complete the ACH form and registration in SAMS http://sam.gov formerly known as CCR and ORCA. The ACH form can be found on UNICOR's webpage at www.unicor.gov. For the ACH form click on business commercial opportunities, navigate to, procurement forms and click on ACH form and print. Successul offeror(s) will be responsible for sales and marketing of the Office Furniture Group's product offering during the term of the contract. This shall include but not be limited to the existing products and any products added at a later date. The sales force shall have the responsibility to cover the United States including Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and oconus At a minimum, the sales force must be staffed at a level and physically located sufficiently to provide timely responses to customers throughout the United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and oconus. Generally, a customer should be responded to within 24 hours. UNICOR will not establish sales force staffing levels in recognition of this being performance based. UNICOR will bear none of the operational costs associated with the sales force. This includes, but is not limited to, salaries, benefits, office costs, office expenses, and travel costs. This shall be considered a cost of doing business and will be the sole responsibility of the successful offeror. The sales force shall be responsible for identifying customers, making sales calls, closing the sale, and facilitating a smooth hand off to UNICOR's Project Managers upon receipt of the order. Additionalinfomration on the responsibilities will be addressed in detail in the solicaition documents. Successful offeror shall acquire a National Sales Manager with at least (5) five years of contract furniture management experience with the federal government/commercial market. In addition, a District Manager shall be hired to oversee the sales representative and their territories. Offeror is to provide resumes of National Sales Manager, District Managers and Sales representatives they propose in the performance of the contract. Also offeros are to provide an Executive Summary and company profile The sales force shall be exclusive to UNICOR. Successful offeror shall be responsible for tracking all sales leads through to closure. This will include pre-sales and post-sales activity. Reporting will be required to be submitted. This information will be provided in detail in the solicitation document.. Successful offerors compensation shall be provided in detail in the solicitation document. The period of performance is one base year with four one year option if exercised as follows: BASE YEAR - April 1, 2016 through March 31, 2017 OPTION YEAR 1- April 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018 OPTION YEAR 2- April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2019 OPTION YEAR 3- April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020 OPTION YEAR 4- April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021 The period of performance may vary depending on actual award date but will not occur prior to April 1, 2016. UNICOR Office Furniture Group has a contract requirement for sales/marketing of the following UNICOR Products, sales may include but not limited to the products listed below: Systems Movable/Demountable Walls - versatile components that can be incorporated into a systems environment or can be installed from floor to ceiling to form offices. Options include a variety of finishes, transparent or translucent panel featuring a built in marker boards or slat wall tiles, as well as doors, etc. Privacy Screens/Panels - movable components that come in a variety of sizes and configurations. May be free standing, fastened to work surfaces, or form the supporting structure for work surfaces. Work Surfaces - may be a floor supported or panel supported work surfaces. Comes in a variety of finishes, may be angular or curvi-linear, may include privacy screens and storage options. Accommodates technology demands, including electrical needs, computer accessories, computer cable, fiber optics, etc. Options may include nesting tables, conferencing corners, etc. Storage Products - includes a wide variety of products including overhead bins, mobile and stationary pedestals, group storage and filing, storage cabinets, wardrobe/storage cabinets. Product options may include a variety of finishes (paint, laminate, veneer, fabric, etc.). Miscellaneous Office Enhancements - a variety of products that increase the utility of systems furniture including paper management, tack boards and mobile privacy screens. This may vary based on level of security at site. UNICOR will notify offeror of the security requirements. All staff must complete and pass a NCIC check. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on a Multiple Award basis. A detailed statement of work and all other requirements to be considered for award will be listed in the solicitation document. All offerors shall be registered in www.sam.gov. Any offorer not registered in SAM will not be considered for award. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer represents the best value to the government. Evaluation factors will be listed in detail in the solicitation document.. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer which shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. The solicitation, amendments and any other corresponding documents for FN1407-15 will be posted to Fedbizops. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
