- The U. S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems (PM TAS) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a new sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) IDIQ Contract for repair of the M119A3 Inertial Navigation System and the M777A2 Inertial Navigation System. The INU technology is proprietary to Honeywell International Inc. Aerospace- Clearwater (Defense) and as such the INU technical data is not currently available. The Justification & Approval (J&A) addresses duplication costs to the Government. Authority for this procurement comes under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
