Description
The Naval Medical Logistics Command on behalf of Navy Expeditionary Medical Logistics intends to negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with ProAim Americas, LLC., 209 Bountiful Pointe Circle, Grover, MO 63040-2126 as the only authorized distributor capable of providing Deployment Shelter Operating Room Shelter Lights manufactured by Maquet, Medical Systems, USA. Navy Expeditionary Medical Logistics has a requirement for Deployment Shelter Operating Room Lights. The light system shall be designed specifically to meet the interior dimensions of the NATO ISO shelter systems. Description Catalog# MACQUET Operating Room Shelter Lights PLED33SSFTMOUS The light system shall be a complete system incorporating all needed components for installation while at station or under deployment. The system shall be designed specifically to meet the interior dimensions of the NATO ISO shelter systems. The light system shall have an approved deployment strapping system for the main arms and MIL specification approved protective case for enclosing of (4) Light head Copulas and (1) Power Supply. This deployment system will protect the light system for rapid deployment of the ISO shelter. The main and spring arms will be permanently secured to the shelter, and the lamp heads and power supply are removable for deployment/shipment. Each ceiling mounted light shall have a minimum 150 degrees of rotation about the extension arm; shall have a minimum of 60 degrees of rotation about the yoke; shall have a minimum of 90 degrees of rotation about the vertical support of the light head; the light color shall be within 15% of 4500 degrees Kelvin; shall have a minimum illuminance of 80,000 Lux per light head; the light focal range shall start at a minimum of 24 inches and not extend past 50 inches from the light head; the light shall not cause a temperature rise of more than 4 degrees Celsius; shall have a minimum rating of 500 hours on the light source, the lighting system shall meet power requirements of 120 VAC 60Hz;. The shelter light shall have sufficient range of motion to cover a standard table, of 6 feet 5 inches in length; shall have a method of securing the light in a fixed location for transportation conditions, the method shall be semi-permanently mounted (i.e. mounted with bolts, screws, or other semi-permanent means) to the room's ceiling; shall include an installation kit to allow for the installation of the light in the shelter spaces. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized maintenance contractor for the proposed equipment/systems such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System 334510 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties who believe they can provide the requirement described above may submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by closing of this notification will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based on the above information, the only technically acceptable contractor for providing Deployment Shelter Operating Room Shelter Lights manufactured by Maquet Medical Systems, USA is ProAim Americas, LLC; 209 Bountiful Pointe Circle, Grover, MO 63040-2126 Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS word or Adobe PDF attachment to Rebecca.C.Wisner.Civ@Mail.Mil Statements are due no later than 1:00 PM Eastern time on 01 September 2015.
