- Title: SOLE SOURCE ACQUISITION for HANDHELD PORTABLE VO2 ANALYZER Solicitation #: F3T3LB5201AW01 The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Cosmed USA, Inc. The required VO2 analyzer must be all-in-one, handheld, and meet all of the specifications listed below:  Displays testing results without a computer  Capable of printing test results without a separate printer  Calculates VO2max and sub-max VO2  Calculates Training Zones  Able to provide a complete Fitness Assessment  Able to provide a complete Exercise Prescription  Contains an internal memory to store results for upload to computer software  Contains software program for further assessments and management of data This procurement will be a sole source due to the fact that Cosmed USA, Inc. is the only company that can meet all of the afore mentioned specifications. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting From a Single Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 20 August 2015 at 1:00 P.M.
