FOR ANY INFORMATION CONTACT: FMS Engineer Mark Conrad (443-395-7013, mark.g.conrad.civ@mail.mil) Sources sought for JADOCS field service support US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) is seeking sources able to provide Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) training (1 week) and field service support (3 weeks). This support would involve 2 JADOCS experts who would provide a 1-week JADOCS orientation session in Ottawa, Ontario followed by 3-weeks of JADOCS support to an exercise in Meaford, Ontario. The contractor shall provide the training and on-site field technical support in Canada from mid-September to mid-October. Personnel providing support shall be knowledgeable on the operation of the JADOCS software. The personnel shall be available 40 hours per week for technical support. The contractor's field technical personnel shall provide the following services: Provide assistance with issues pertaining to operation of the JADOCS software. Provide technical advice concerning set-up and operation of the JADOCS. Assist in fault isolation, repair, and routine maintenance of the JADOCS. Assist in any in-country training programs of the JADOCS. The FMS Customer (Canada) will be responsible for obtaining work visas and appropriate clearances for the field technical support personnel. The Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) provides the Warfighter with a timely, accurate, detailed battlespace view for planning, coordination, and execution of targets. It is a joint mission management software application that provides a suite of tools and interfaces for horizontal and vertical integration across battlespace functional areas. Key integration functions within JADOCS are Counterfire Common Operational Picture (CF-COP), Joint Battlespace Management, Coalition Coordination and Integration, Air Interdiction (AI) Planning and Execution, Fire Support Coordination Measures (FSCM) Analysis, and Battlespace Visualization. JADOCS is a software application consisting of managers, databases, and tables presenting and manipulating Command and Control (C2) information, and communications interfaces to and from various C2 systems to obtain, coordinate, and disseminate this information. The JADOCS application resides on Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)/Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) personal computer platforms. The JADOCS totals approximately 1.2 million source lines of code that is a mix of approximately 72% C++, and the remaining in Java. The contractor tasked to accomplish this effort must possess subject matter expertise in the fire support/targeting domain, and possess thorough knowledge of the system architecture and software architecture for JADOCS. In addition to the expertise described above, the contractor must be able to support all technical, operational, safety, interoperability and security testing. This is not a request for a formal proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The Government may in the future decide to pursue a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program.
