Description
THIS IS A BUY INDIAN SET ASIDE The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is soliciting offers to procure for construction supplies for Division of Transportation, Force Accounts Farmington, NM. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. A15PS01199, herein cited is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81. This acquisition is for a Native American Owned Business Small Business Set-Aside under the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C). The NAICS Code is 333120, Size standards 750. Scope of Work: Constructor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, and incidentals necessary to deliver a WP810 Windrow Pick-up Machine (14'.4") Conveyor. All purchase shall be coordinated through the Construction Manager and machine Specification shall be provided for acceptance prior to acceptance of machine. MACHINE SPECIFICATION: 1. Engine: 127.5 Horsepower at 2500 RPM (Caterpillar 3054C) 2. Engine Coolant: 6 Gallons 3. Engine Oil: 10 Quarts 4. Diesel Fuel Tank: 60 Gallons 5. Conveyor System: 800 tons per hoou of Hot Mix Asphalt 6. Main Pump: 47 GPM and 5075 PSI at 2500 RPM 7. Auxillary Pump: 10 GPM and 2000 PSI at 2500 RPM 8. Hydraulic Oil Reservoir: 30 Gallons 9. Gear Box: 150,000 IN-LB at 3000 RPM, 45.2:1 10. Weight:18,000 Pounds 11. Height 11'-0" 12. Width (casters retracted): 8'- 6" 13. Length: 18'- 0" 14. Rear Tires and Wheels: N240/550 17.5 17.5x6.75 Duplex Type 15. Front Wheels: 22" OD x 10" Wide Custom Rubber on Steel (The pickup machine does is pick up the hot asphalt mix (windrow) then drops the mix into the hopper of the laydown machine, which is then place as a paved lane for the road surface). VARIATION IN QUANTITY CLAUSE (Apr 1984) (a) a variation in the quantity of any item called for by this contract will not be accepted unless the variation has been caused by conditions of loading, shipping or packing or allowances in manufacturing processes and then only to the extent, if any, specified in paragraph (b) of this clause. (b) The permissible variation shall be limited to: 20% increase, 20% decrease. This increase or decrease shall apply to all line items in the contract. Award will be made at a fair and reasonable price to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the requirements herein will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
