FAR COMMERCIAL CLAUSES TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION (JOTFOC) DHS/USCG A/S SAVANNAH, SAVANNAH,GA NEEDS VIDEOSCOPE SYS (ITEM PECULAR ONE MFG) HSCG-28-15-P-7AD362 SUPPLY SOLICITATION QTY 1 EA ON ALL ITEMS LISTED BELOW Description of Supplies/Services - (1) IPLEX RX Industrial Videoscope System with batteries and charger. Model IV9420RX. Diameter: 4.0mm. Working length: 2.0m. Consists of main body, carrying case, strap set, AC adapter, 1GB USB memory stick, optical tip adapter case, VGA connection cable. (2) IV94-AT120D/NF IPLEX RT/RX optical tip adapter. Model: AT120D/NF-IV94. (3) IV94-AT100s/NF IPLEX RT/RX optical tip adapter. Model: AT100S/NF-IV94. (4) IV94-AT50D/NF IPLEX RT/RX optical tip adapter. Model: AT50D/NF-IV94. (5) IV94-AT50S/NF IPLEX RT/RX optical tip adapter. Model: AT50S/NF-IV94. Synopsis: This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as brand name solicitation required source. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG-28-15-P-7AD362 Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code:423860 size standard 100. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract. Selection will be based primarily on the lowest cost technically acceptable. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. Anticipated award date: Sept 4, 2015 QUOTES: Quotes are to be received no later than close of business (4 p.m.) on Sept 1, 2015. Faxed quotations will be accepted at 305-415-7092. Quotes may be submitted by electronic means for consideration of award. Electronic quotes may be transmitted by email to pedro.tirado@uscg.mil or facsimile (305)415-7092. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure their electronic bid has been received. BASIS FOR AWARD: The competition is unrestricted and considered full and open. BRAND NAME SOLICITATION Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder who provides the best value to the Government. Evaluations and consideration will be made based closest lowest cost technically acceptable, delivery schedule and past performance. References may be requested. The Government intends to issue a firm fix price award. The Government reserves the right not to award if it is determined not to be in best interest of the Government. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: See attached technical specifications for complete list of PART#S and technical requirements. Performance Period: Contractor will be provided no greater than a 30 day period for the completion of delivery once the contract has been awarded. The Contractor shall provide all required logistics in order necessary to deliver products to A/S Savannah. Technical question should be submitted in writing on the FEDBIZOPS system.
