Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a firm fixed price order, under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-15-G-0026, to Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) of El Segundo, CA. NAVAIR intends to procure F/A-18 A-D Long Lead Material (LLM) parts in support of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 1098-10, Y615 Former and Bootstrap Retrofit, Air Frame Change (AFC-591), a modification to upgrade the Y615 former and bootstrap. This award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source an no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the F/A-18 A-D aircraft and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the Fleet. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the only known firm that possesses the technical data, resources and expertise necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements.
