Description

NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Groton Contracting Branch requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Dive Boat and Trailer Repair Services in support of Naval Submarine Support Facility, Groton, CT. The Government contemplates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from the solicitation. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-15-T-G230. The NAICS code is 336611 “Ship Building and Repairing, and the small business standard is 1000 personnel. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside competitive action. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the contract specialist via e-mail ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendor responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.acq.osd.mil. Lack of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) will render the vendor ineligible for award. The solicitation has been released on 18 August 2015 separately from this synopsis. Responses to this Solicitation are due on 28 August 2015 at 11:00 am Eastern Time.
