- Minimum specifications for the grease separator system required by NSWCCD. This is a Sources Sought Announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Request for a Solicitation will not receive a response. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in West Bethesda, MD is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest, and capability of potential sources from which to purchase a marine grease separator system for laboratory evaluation. The evaluation will be part of the Non-Oily Wastewater (NOW) Technology Identification and Assessment Process (TIAP) conducted by NSWCCD Code 633. The shipboard grease separator shall be designed to treat daily generated NOW and will be evaluated for use as a pretreatment device to shipboard marine sanitation devices (MSDs). The required minimum specifications are attached to this notice. The Government's determination on how to compete the proposed requirement will be made based on responses to this notice. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). In the event a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal number and the announcement will be published on the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562119 - Other Waste Collection. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 4:00 PM EST, 4 September 2015.
