- RFI/White Paper #153406 - Wideband Digitizer Technology This is a Request for Information (RFI/White Papers by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWDIVNPT). This RFI is published in accordance with FAR Parts 15.201 and 35.007 and is for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a commitment by the U. S. Government, nor should it be construed as such. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted under this RFI. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI, or reimburse RFI preparation costs incurred by any offeror when providing the information requested under this notice. A formal Request for Proposals (RFP), solicitation or other announcement may be issued if the White Papers demonstrate that the technologies are viable and can be tailored to meet the Navy's objectives. If a solicitation is issued, it will be issued by invitation only in accordance with FAR Part 35.007. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is seeking potential sources capable of providing Advanced Component and System Development and Innovative Research and Development (IR&D) solutions related to Wideband Digitizer Technology. This request for RFI/White Papers is intended for projects that have already been through the early stages of R&D. The respondent's White Paper shall provide Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) that the technology being considered for review has achieved a Technical Readiness Level (TRL) of 5/6/7, respectively. RFI/White Papers submitted in response to this RFI will not be returned. It is the policy of NUWCDIVNPT to treat all RFI/White Papers as sensitive, competitive information and to disclose their content to government personnel only, and only for the purposes of assessing technical capability. All submissions shall be UNCLASSIFIED. The Government does not commit to providing a response to any comments or questions. This announcement will be open for 45 days from date of publication. RFI/White Papers may be submitted at any time during this period. Instructions/Content/Evaluation Criteria for the White Papers are set forth in Attachment #1. Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing by e-mail to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Bonnie Stevens @ bonnie.l.stevens@navy.mil. All emails shall include the following: RFI #153406-Wideband Digitizer. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. Questions will be answered via an Amendment to the RFI and will be posted to FEDBIZOPPS. Questions shall NOT contain proprietary or classified information. The Government does not guarantee that questions received after 23 SEP 2015 will be answered.
