Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, in conjunction with policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed under FAR 13.1, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is VA240C-15-Q-0034 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) (iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53, except for items III, IV, and VI which are effective August 5, 2015. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. (v) This requirement consists of CLIN (0001): One (1) Trios Spinal Surgical Table System or Equal (0001a): Table Base (0001b): Top, Radiolucent Imaging (0001c): Cart, Equipment (0001d): Combo Hip/Thigh Pad Set, 1PR (0001e): Adapter, Universal, Side Rail (0001f): ASSY, Adapter Cervical Traction Unit (0001g): Adapter, Retractor, Spinal Top (0001h): PKit SST LPV Pillow SG Cover Arm Pad, 6/CS (0001I): Wilson Plus Frame w/SHRGRD) Gel Pad The spinal surgical table system must offer the following to be considered technically acceptable for this procurement: Ease of use, must offer 180 degree rotation, powered floor locks with built in safety mechanism to prevent table from operating without floor locks engaged, Evenly distributes pressure load on patient during surgery, system that can stimulate pressure points, offers at least two (2) oscillating cycles, real time information in regards to tables height, tilt and Trendelenburg position, programmable memory positions, alert system notifying clinician if table is unlocked, ability to perform anterior/posterior procedures, a weight capacity of 650LB at a minimum and ability to adjust system before and after patient transfer.
