Description

This project is considered a small business set-aside. The FAA is seeking experienced firms to provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision and transportation to provide the scope of work as follows: Replacement of Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), cleaning of mold, and removal of asbestos containing materials according to contract documents within the St. Louis Regional Airport, Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in Alton, IL. Work will include replacement of equipment, piping, ductwork, and controls: Scope of Work.- Offerer must perform a site visit to verify existing conditions and quantities. Work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Replacement of all Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) related equipment in the facility including but not limited to, fan coil units, convectors, modular air handling units, condensers, chillers, boilers, pumps, unit heaters, piping, valves, ductwork, air grilles and diffusers, insulation, humidifiers, exhaust fans, LON controls system and all control equipment for a building automation system. Removal of Asbestos Contaminated Materials as indicated in contract documents according to OSHA requirements Testing, adjusting and balancing of all equipment to provide a fully functioning system demonstrated through commissioning testing. Training on all equipment and the control system. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. NAICS Code is 238220. The contractor awarded the contract must have active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov VERBAL REQUESTS FOR THE SIR WILL NOT BE HONORED. INTERESTED FIRMS MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED SIMILAR PROJECTS BOTH IN DOLLAR AMOUNT AND SCOPE OF WORK WITHIN THE LAST THREE YEARS. INTERESTED FIRMS MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT ATTACHED BUSINESS DECLARATION FORM ALONG WITH A LETTER OF INTEREST. General contractors must submit their interest for subject project on letterhead and include the firm's name, address, e-mail, phone number, fax number, and point of contact by no later than May 8, 2015. Letter of interest may be sent electronically to melody.mcgovern@faa.gov.
